Source is a part of the Yan Club Arts Center. It is a private restaurant nestled in a typical elegant Chinese courtyard in Beijing. Its calligraphy screen and mural embody the spirit of the Chinese Tang Dynasty.

Back in Qing Dynasty, its location was the residence of a famous general. In the middle of the courtyard there is a hundred-year old pomegranate tree bringing good luck and fortune according to Chinese Feng Shui.

The owner of Source has built a unique and delicate loft like a restaurant in ancient China. Everyday the restaurant is full of the beautiful sounds of Peking opera and Kunqu opera. The retired and quiet surrounding makes the restaurant an ideal place to entertain friends, family members and business partners.

The name ˇ°Sourceˇ± was given by the famous Chinese writer Jin Yong. Entering the front door, there is a wooden tablet which tells the features of this Sichuan restaurant.
